Agritechnica 2005 in Hanover: Europe''s largest agricultural machinery show
The international DLG exhibition for agricultural machinery Agritechnica 2005 being held in Hanover from 8 to 12 November 2005 (Preview Days on 6 and 7 November) will exercise a magnetic attraction on manufacturers of agricultural machinery from home and abroad. Judging by stand registrations to date the organiser, DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society), assumes that well over 1,400 exhibitors from all over Europe will once again be presenting their new and further developments in Hanover. All the branch leaders will be represented in Hanover with a complete programme and many innovations. As the stand applications show, at Agritechnica 2005 attention will focus on the agricultural machinery hits for 2006. They will provide clear impetus and signals for the European agricultural machinery market. Agritechnica is thus already impressively underscoring its status as world''s largest show for modern agricultural machinery well before the start of the exhibition.
Growth reported
Agritechnica 2005 can report encouraging growth in many areas. The number of exhibitors in the field of Bioeneregy/Renewable Raw Materials who have booked stands has almost doubled by comparison with the same stage in the run-up to the last Agritechnica in 2003. The Components/Spare Parts sector is continuing to grow too, with an increase of ten per cent in the number of exhibitors. It is also striking that the manufacturers of soil-working machinery are coming to Hanover with a larger programme this year. The space rented for this sector is six per cent larger than for the last Agritechnica. Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic have booked community stands.
Trend workshop for the entire agricultural sector
Of all Europe''s agricultural machinery exhibitions, Agritechnica is the one with the largest quota of manufacturers among the exhibitors. All global and cross-European agricultural machinery players are represented here. Agritechnica offers altogether the most comprehensive and varied exhibition programme for plant production. The venue in November is attractive, for these target groups, as this is when manufacturers present their innovations. Agritechnica has developed to become a trend workshop for the entire agricultural sector. With its offerings of new technology and new developments it represents a unique information forum for all major issues concerning the future of agriculture and agricultural machinery and provides a complete picture of the technological trends. The exhibition will also boast a top-flight side programme with a large number of international events to supplement the technical exhibits. For example the VDI/MEG International Congress for Agricultural Engineering 2005, the International Seed Congress and the Russia/Ukraine Conference on Agricultural Machinery will be held within the framework of Agritechnica 2005. In addition the European Young Farmers Conference organised by the "Young DLG" for Agritechnica 2005 will attract great attention again. At most events there will be simultaneous interpreting in German, English and French, and in some cases in Russian and Polish too. In addition a richly varied technical programme will be offered in special forums, with international orientation in many languages.
