Information

May 9-10, 2007
Jaarbeurs Exhibition Halls
Utrecht - The Netherlands

Aquafeed Horizons will be the premier conference for the commercial aquaculture feed sector in 2007. It is designed specifically to meet the information needs of professionals: formulators, technical directors, mill managers, company directors and other decision makers.

The meeting will also provide invaluable insights for ingredient and equipment suppliers, researchers, veterinarians and others whose business depends on understanding the needs of aquaculture and the possibilities offered by advances in aquafeed technology and formulation.

The conference will also afford an opportunity for networking and discussion between your peers in the industry and a chance to see the very latest in feed processing equipment and ingredients at the feed industry´s leading international trade show, Victam International 2007.

Aquafeed Horizons is organized by Aquafeed.com, the aquaculture feed industry information resource and Fiskeriforskning, the Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture Research.

Aquafeed.com is the leading information resource for the aquatic feed industries worldwide. Established since 1999, aquafeed manufacturers, aquaculture farmers, researchers, ingredient and feed processing suppliers—in fact all related sectors—have come to rely on Aquafeed.com website and its related publications to keep them in the know. In March 2006 the first Aquafeed.com conference was held alongside a Victam show: Victam Asia in Bangkok. The co-location of leading feed industry trade show and aquafeed conference proved a wining combination for delegates and the start of a happy partnership.

Founded in 1964, Victam is held every three years at the Jaarbeurs Halls in Utrecht, Netherlands, it has grown to include all areas of feed and grain processing. As a delegate at Aquafeed Horizons you will be on site and have the opportunity to visit Victam, the most important international feed industry trade show in the world. Admission is free of charge.

Fiskeriforskning - the Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture Research - performs research and development work for the fishery and aquaculture industry. Its Department of Aquafeed Development and Marine Processing in Bergen, Norway, has expertise and pilot plants for producing and evaluating feed and feed raw materials.
