The Brazilian States of Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná may became in a nearby future, the largest milk production communnity in Brazil. That is a fact, which is shown year after year with the exponential growing of investments, numbers of production and offers of industrialized goods to the national and international markets.

Three out of the six larggest milk production microregions of Brazil are located at South, being two of them at West of Santa Catarina´s State and another one very close, at Parana´s State.

These locations already have international recognition on the quality of the pork, cattle and pountry production and industrialized products. Significant investments are being made on genetics, milk producers trainning and animal welfare. Also, many industrial plants are being built and extended to benefit dairy products.
