The IDF National Committee of the Russian Federation, the North-Caucasus State Technical University, the All-Russia Dairy Scientific Research Institute (VNIMI) with the support of Agricultural Ministry of Russian Federation, the Ministry of education and science of Russian Federation, the Russian Agricultural Academy and Russian Dairy Union are pleased to invite you to Moscow, Russia to attend the IDF Symposium "Lactose and its Derivatives" and IDF Regional Conference "Fermented milks — Technology and Nutrition", May 14-17, 2007.


Both programmes will be presented by reports of the IDF leading experts, posters, wide variety programs of technical and social tours, which allow participants to acquire familiarity with achievements of Russian dairy industry and sights of Moscow and Russian regions.


The IDF Symposium "Lactose and its Derivatives" and the IDF Symposium on Fermented Milks are not only acquaintances with the latest achievements in dairy science and technologies, but also a chance to enjoy Russia.

The Conference will be followed by the award ceremony of the IDF Elie Metchnikoff Prize 2007. The IDF Elie Metchnikoff Prize 2007 will be awarded in three categories to scientists or teams of scientists who have made outstanding discoveries in the field of microbiology, biotechnology, nutrition and health with regard to fermented milks.
