Dr Catunda graduated in animal science from the University of São Paulo in Brazil before joining Fri-Ribe Animal Nutrition as a nutritionist. He moved on to work as a production manager for PIC for six years in both South and North America. In 1997 he finished an MBA with specialization on Agribusiness at the University College Dublin, Ireland. He is member of the Brazilian College of Animal Nutrition an independent institution responsible for linking the University with the industry.
