Difloxacin hydrochloride (equiv. to base) 100 mg

Prevention and treatment of infections caused by microorganisms that are sensitive to difloxacine. Basically, in digestive tract, genitourinary tract, respiratory tract, auditive tube and skin, among many other; respiratory bovine disease, colibacilosis, salmonellosis, pneumonia, broncho-pneumonia, micoplasmosis, dermatitis, mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome and rhinitis.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
By subcutaneous route (intramuscular only in pigs).
- Bovines, caprines, ovines, camelids, pigs: 2.5 mg difloxacine/kg/day (that is, 1 mL/40 kg) for 3 to 5 days. For complicated diseases, the dose can be doubled to 5 mg/kg/day.
- Dogs: 5 mg difloxacine/kg/day (that is 1 mL/20 kg) in one single subcutaneous injection.
- Chicken and roosters: 10 mg/kg body weight.
