Bangkok will once again host the forthcoming Victam Asia 2006 event. This well known and respected event, which when last held in 2002, attracted almost 3000 trade executives, mainly from within the important South East Asian market, so underlining the importance of the event as seen by the region´s feed and grain industries. Now with the support of many of the region´s trade associations and other related organizations, and together with increased publicity within specialist publications, and the business press, the organizers expect an even greater visitor and conference delegate attendance at the 2006 event.

 Thailand has South East Asia''s foremost production of pig, poultry, shrimp and rice, much of which is exported throughout the world.

 Victam Asia 2006 will bring together local & international exhibitors, conference delegates, and visitors concerned with these important industries.

The Victam Asia 2006 exhibition will be supported by a series of technical conferences and workshops. Renowned international speakers will present papers on the following:

Aquafeed.com One-Day Technical Workshop “Optimize for profit”

Organised by Aquafeed.com with the support of the Thai Department of Fisheries.
The workshop will be tailored to the specific needs of the Aquafeed industry in the region. It will provide practical instruction to feed millers on how to optimize their formulations and production processes to create better quality, more profitable aquafeeds.
The workshop will be limited to nine x 30 minute “How to” presentations by leading industry technical experts.

Livestock feed ingredients and production

Organised by the Thai Feed Mill Association in conjunction with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and with the support of the Thai Department of Livestock Development.

World Grain Conference: rice & grain processing, storage and contamination control

Organised by the Sosland Publishing Co., publishers of World Grain magazine.
World Grain Magazine will be organizing a major conference in conjunction with Victam Asia 2006. This high-level meeting will feature leaders in the global grain industry and be a key event for all those in Thailand and the Asia Pacific region concerned with the trade, storage, handling or processing of grains.
The conferences will be held over the three days of the exhibition and a provisional conference programme will be announced shortly.
