It is our great pleasure to announce the 1st Research Conference on AMR/AMU in Food Animals in the Asia-Pacific Region (AMRU-Asia Pacific) to be held on 6-8 February 2023. AMRU-Asia Pacific 2023 is our first research conference that will be a platform for bringing together stakeholders from industry, academia, and government as well as other interested parties all over the world in the same virtual conference for research on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial use (AMU) in Asian and Pacific food animal production.
AMRU-Asia Pacific 2023 is a fully virtual event for all attendees. The conference emphasizes the research on AMR and AMU for food animal production conducted in Asia Pacific. The scientific program will be constructed around chosen subjects presented by high quality keynote and guest speakers covering the following three areas:

AMR emergence and spread in food animals in the Asia-Pacific Region: surveillance, molecular epidemiology and transmission dynamics

AMU monitoring and alternatives to antimicrobials for AMU reduction in food animals in the Asia-Pacific Region

Bridging innovations and AMR mitigation in food animals
These topics will be addressed in depth through scientific lectures, expert panel discussions, and electronic poster presentations.
