Since its inception in 2013, the event has emerged to become the most important trade event for the industry. The last edition in 2015 attracted over 4,600 trade visitors and featured over 120 exhibiting companies.
With 11 million hectares of arable land, a population of approximately 52 million and an anticipated 7-9% GDP growth over the next five-year period, Myanmar is still a largely untapped market waiting to explode in size. Major livestock companies in the Asian region including CP, Japfa, Sunjin, De Heus and New Hope have setup huge farming, and feed production facilities, and are soon to be followed by familar names in the region.
