State is the third in the national ranking of agricultural exports in 2014.

Paraná is the third State in the national ranking of agricultural exports in 2014, also maintains a record in the production and exports of poultry sector. Only last year, the state exported $2.186 billion of chicken, up 6.9% compared to 2012, according to data from the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC). The slaughter in the region in 2013 totaled 1.46 billion heads of poultry. These are the numbers that put the Paraná poultry in leadership among Brazilian states involved in the chain, in front of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, second and third places respectively. In 2014, the development keeps Paraná the first State in exports in Brazil. From January to July this year the state sold $ 1.4 billion, 1.64% more in comparison with the same period in 2013, reports the MDIC. In volume, the Paraná exported in the first half of this year 700.77 million ton against 634.86 million in the same period of 2013 The results show: the chicken meat leads the business segment in the state of and put the Paraná up and prominent in Brazilian agriculture, with companies involved with the chain throughout its territory.

In the pig industry, the moment is also positive. Data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) indicate that the state has the third largest herd of pigs, behind Rio Grande do Sul, the second, and Santa Catarina, leader. The same ranking is noted in the production and export of swine, according to IBGE. In 2013 were slaughtered in Brazil 36,061,516 heads, being Paraná responsible for 19.2% or 6,911,202 heads. The State produced 613,242,562 kilograms of swine representing 19.7% of the Brazilian production which is 3,119,725,732 kg. The swine production is estimated at 4.5 million heads representing 14.1% of Brazilian production. Exports exceeded 23 million tons of swine, generating over $ 110 million.

With such impressive numbers, Paraná is ideal for a business event that involves not only the poultry and swine, but also the entire chain of animal protein: The International Trade Fair for Production and Processing of Animal Protein (FIPPPA). A unique, complete and horizontal event involving chains of poultry, swine and dairy, from production to processing, from farm to fork. FIPPPA is result of the union of AveSui Latin America, organized by Gessulli Agribusiness and Tecno Food Brazil, organized by G5 Promotrade will have its first edition in Curitiba on 28, 29 and April 30, 2015 in ExpoTrade Convention Center. The fair marks the joint efforts of two respectable companies in organizing large fairs for visitors and exhibitors to multiply their business by development thus the poultry, swine and dairy. "We innovate to create a different event of everything that has been seen so far in the Brazilian market . With the new structure of FIPPPA, we will have the entire chain of animal protein assembled in one place, complete to exhibitors and visitors to" highlights the director of Gessulli Agribusiness, Andrea Gessulli. "The realization of FIPPPA in the leader state of the national poultry, and still noted for its dairy and swine production, adds even more business opportunities for those involved with the Brazilian agribusiness." Rubens Zago, president of Food Tecno Brazil, adds: "We understand that Brazil is already a major producer and supplier of animal protein and the trend is becoming increasingly important. Adding value to grain produced here is an expected and the country will be increasingly a producer of food than a grain exporter. Therefore, we chose the state of Paraná for being the headquarters of FIPPPA more precisely Curitiba, the prime location, complete infrastructure and headquarters of major agribusinesses, thus forming a center of the entire chain of animal protein''.

The new and innovative concept of FIPPPA already attracted support from key engaged and active in the development of protein chains entities. Among them is the Paranaense Poultry Association (Apavi), the Union of Poultry Products Industries of Paraná (Sindiavipar), Paraná Association of Swine (APS), Brazilian Association of Swine Genetics (Abegs), National Association of Manufacturers of Equipment for Poultry and Swine (ANFEAS) and the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), which already has its place holder inside the event. "We will disclose the FIPPPA to all producers of Paraná. We know the importance of the event " said Claudio Casagrande, president of Apavi. Francisco Turra, president of ABPA said that the entity has the principle of the unification links of the production chain for the development of poultry and swine in Brazil. "It is with this objective that we support FIPPPA and all poultry and swine events, which are configured in good opportunities for integration of the sectors," he emphasized.

"The big advantage is that companies will have in the same place all segments of the production chain of animal protein. They can see in one place all the companies operating in the animal protein chain," says Carlos Pulici, president of ANFEAS.

With the support of the entities mentioned, there are more than 30 institutions that have confirmed support and gave credibility to the event, as well as the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment (Abimaq).
