The next scientific World Nutrition Forum will be held in Mayrhofen in Tyrol from September 17th to 19th, 2008.

Again about 500 consultants, executives and veterinary nutritionists from all over the world will attend this event to discuss the future of animal nutrition.

The main aim of this biannual forum organised by the Austrian company BIOMIN is to present and discuss the latest scientific findings in healthy animal nutrition and improving the animal performance.

Participants of academic centres and corporations will deal with various aspects concerning these topics in presentations and panel discussions.

The World Nutrition Forum 2008 congress will be completed by a pleasant social programme in the impressive scenery of the Tyrolean mountains on September 20th, 2008.

The scientific World Nutrition Forum 2008 will address the following topics amongst others:

• Supply and demand for feed – how will we master the future?
• Global feed raw material supply – current and future
• Trends in animal husbandry
• Sources of mycotoxins in animal feed
• Improving the health status of livestock
• The use of Natural Growth Promoters in animal husbandry
• Optimizing the impact of animal production on the environment
• Strategies to comply with the consumer demand for safe food
