Hilyses® supplemented diet positively impacts in poultry production

Published: July 19, 2018
Summary
The period for growing/raising broilers is short. Therefore, handling, nutrition, and hygiene errors can cause economic losses, since there is no time to recover the performance after the damages arising from possible failures. The early investment in the growth cycle of these animals is essential to enable them to reach their full genetic potential.  The use of functional nutrients/ad...

Hi, good efforts and results, but what are the differences between using yeast as a growth promoter and as a source of free nucleotides.
How we get it for testing also?

Dear Manal kamal, could you please send us your email contact so we can share all the information asked?

Yeast could be a source of nucleotides but only if it is hydrolysed and most of the times the nucleotides are not "free". The way of hydrolysis and a lot of other factors are important for an evaluation.

Dear Verros Dimitrios, Thanks a lot for your nice comment about yeast and nucleotides peculiarities. Yes we totally agree with you. The quality of hydrolysis process is imperative to guarantee RNA digestion into nucleotides and its important/ideal to have them in free form for immediate absorption. If you need further information about our Nucleotides source do let us know. We are happy to share details about our production process, quality guarantees and most important: scientific experiment data showing our products performance in different animal species and enviroments. Verros Dimitrios, Thanks for your quick reply! ICC entire products range (including Hilyses) is originated from Ethanol fermentation process in Brazil. We see significant benefits from this unique origen for our yeast additives. Exogenous enzymatic hydrolysis breaks down cell walls and cytoplasm. This releases nucleotides, beta-glucans, and mannan oligosaccharides (MOS). These components help enhance immunity, disease resistance, production, and growth. For chemical analysis and nutritional values please share your email address so that we can shend you the information in details. Thanks a lot again! Dear Chin How Cheong , Free nucleotides and nucleosides can be immediately absorbed by the enterocytes in the intestine, being especially important in tissues of fast cell multiplication and limited capacity of de novo synthesis (main metabolic route of nucleotide production), as intestinal epithelial cells, blood cells, hepatocytes and immune system cells. Therefore these nucleotides are synthesized through the salvage route, where the body can produce nucleotides with less energy cost, since it will recycle the bases and nucleotides from metabolic breakdown of the nucleic acid from dead cells or from the diet. However, when endogenous supply is insufficient, the nucleotides from exogenous sources become semi-essential or “conditionally essential” nutrients . This occurs mainly in animals during rapid growth process (early phases), reproduction, stress and challenges. An economically feasible source of nucleotides is ICC hydrolyzed yeast Hilyses. Hilyses undergoes a special process of hydrolysis of the RNA for there to be release of the nucleotides and nucleosides (which form the nitrogen bases). Having, in addition to these nucleotides, amino acids, short-chain peptides and polypeptides, glutamine and being highly digestible and recommended for animal nutrition. There is also the presence of Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS, which is an effective tool in the prevention of diarrhea caused by Salmonella and E.coli. contamination) and high levels of ß-glucans immunostimulants that activate the T cells present in the intestine, triggering the alert mode of innate immune system). In addition to the reproductive phase, there is also a great demand in the early (rapid) growth phase for nucleotides and nucleosides for cell multiplication, Hilyses® supplementation favoring and supporting the growth and development of these animals, which can result in healthier animals with higher weight gain. Thus, the use of Hilyses® as source of nucleotides and nucleosides in diets of chicks or broiler breeders can combine the nutritional and health benefits when added to the diet, in addition to resulting in an animal that can express its growth and development potential and improve production indices. Please do let me know if this explanation is useful for you. Thanks a lot again and keep in touch! Isabela Barros - ICC Brazil

Veerappan Shanmugam, thanks for your message!

ICC extensive scientific experimental data counts with specific trials in Broiler breeders and impressive results as far as egg production, fertility, hatchability & extra chicks per breeder are concerned.
It is noticeable that progeny performance also improved by 42 days of age when Broiler Breeders were fed with Diets containing our Hilyses.
I sent a previous message here in this forum about nucleotides action mode and complete benefits coming from Hilyses, do let me know if you need more information.

Our Hilyses is available in India and we also have local data regarding our products performance in your environment!

Thanks a lot and let me know if you need more info.
