Gangrenous dermatitis is a serious health concern for many broiler operations. I have seen many cases in fast growing broilers. There appears to be some nutritional alterations leading to create pecks initially leading to infection by staphylo, streptococci and Clostridial organisms. Providing Selenium and Vit E combination has helped to build immunity in early stage.
