Dear Mr. Susan Watkins, The article is giving reasonably good information, thank you. Could you explain about the diameter, length of pipelines in poultry house which you have mentioned in the article. Also provide the calculation/formula to calculate volume of water. Thanks.

Most poultry farms in Nigeria can not boast of clean water, this fact becomes obvious from repeated appearances of bacteria diseases such as E.coli., salmonellosis, Pseudomona and pasteurellosis, despite usage of choiced antibiotics. The reoccurences had been identified as possible reinfection through contaminated wells and even bore holes. Our study had proved that without effective sanitation of our water system it may be very difficult to bring the situation under control. This article is very educative and very commendable.
