Hi, Nice to know you are running this course. I am Reyaz from Mauritius Island, and i am a small scale broiler farmer. Recently i have been reading lots about poultry housing and tunnel ventilation. I have a five thousand square feet building under natural ventilation that i want to convert to tunnel ventilation. Would be much grateful to you if you could give me some professional literature on this issue. Here in Mauritius there are no companies dealing with this issue. I am working on my own. My house is 40*125ft long. i got some information but the most important question for me is placement of temperature sensors. Where should i place those sensors and at what height. Reyaz: There are a number of newsletters at our website www.poultryventilation.com that should answer most of your questions. Generally a tunnel ventilated house will have four six sensors along the length of the house. The height will change as the birds grow. Typically we want to keep the sensors about 12" above the birds.
