The Victorian Pig Fair will take place on 28th and 29th of July

The Victorian Pig Fair, to be held again at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre on July 28 and 29, 2009 has attracted more than 40 exhibitors including some new to the industry. Come to the 2009 Victorian Pig Fair and have immediate access to all aspects of pork production, nutrition, veterinary engineering, farm equipment, marketing and financial experts all ready to help growers' businesses succeed. Entry is free for producers with passes being obtained from any of the exhibiting or sponsoring companies. This pass entitles you to a Pig Fair show bag including a Pork CRC Pig Fair apron and entry into the lucky door prize draw- a $1000 travel gift voucher.
The event starts at 1:00pm on Tuesday July 28 with a CRC program update that covers key topics for growers.
• 3:00pm to 8:00pm the exhibition area is open
• 5:30- 6:30pm PIC will run their networking session where visitors can meet exhibitors,
• 6:30-8:00pm the APL sponsored 'Pork Pig Out' cocktail style event with a selection of pork products to taste.
On Wednesday July 29, the exhibition area is open from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
• 10:00am-11:30am Seminars include 'Sow lameness, ensuring what to look for' and 'Introducing Net Energy, the new way of measuring energy'.
