Very good article. It smells scientific orientation and quality.
As the high production levels often difficultates to establish a suitable nutritional management that avoids SARA, the use of lactate utilizers bacteria is a very good strategy that, in my opinion, must be used. In this sense, along with Megasphera elsdenii, Selenomonas ruminantium is worthy of mention.
Apart from feeding animals with the bacteria tiself, we can also create the conditions that increase the capability of lactate utilizers bacteria to uptake lactic acid. Within this approach, the use of sodium-calcium salts of malic acid increase such capability. For further details, check the link I attach.
