At the moment Pakistan dairy is facing the biggest challenge of enhancing productivity of its milking animals. As per survey published by UVAS Sahiwl cows average is 5-liter/day while its potential is +24-liter/day. Almost the same story is with buffaloe productivity. The most important thing to enhance productivity of the animal is to understand: THE LANGUAGE OF THE MILKING ANIMAL. This article is very useful in the right direction to understand the requirement of milking animal to enhance its productivity leading to exploit its potential. I congratulate Dr Durrani as very few scientist have focused their attention towards this important aspect. Pl keep it up and I hope you will help farmers community by writing more articles towards such important aspects.

Very interesting. Recent studies confirm that comfort is the most important limiting factor for lactating cows, especially in the first 60 days post-partum.
