It is very refined form of livestock management being practiced in advanced country but it is less possible in our country like Pakistan.

I think the extent of shrinkage due to transportation will vary on mode of transport - by truck/ railway wagon / on hoof, management practices adopted during journey, climatic condition etc. Long term transportation stress w result in degradation of meat quality i.e. Dark Firm Dry ( DFD) condition of meat. The author is requested to put some light on the nutritional supplement, which can be used to prevent the loss of meat quality.
