The study on ICC Brazil’s product will be introduced at the Poultry Science Association (PSA) Latin America, which will take place in Campinas, in November
ICC Brazil, a company, specialized in yeast-based additives, will show the results of an experiment on immunity, intestinal integrity and performance of broilers at the Poultry Science Association (PSA) Latin America. The event, which is one of the largest ones in poultry farming, will take place in Campinas (São Paulo), on November 6-8.
“Participating in technical events is a great way to show the scientific community our commitment to show proof of the benefits of our products,” said Liliana Borges, R&D Analyst, who is responsible for presenting the results of the study “Effects of the yeast cell wall and the hydrolyzed yeast as a source of nucleotides on immunity, intestinal integrity and performance of broilers” [“Efeito da parede celular de levedura e levedura hidrolisada como fonte de nucleotídeos sobre a imunidade, integridade intestinal e desempenho de frangos de corte”] at PSA.
The research used Hilyses®, which is a source of nucleotides that provide early development of young animals and the ability of breeders; this improves feed conversion and general productivity. “Results showed that using the hydrolyzed yeast as a source of yeast and yeast cell wall improved feed conversion of broilers. Also, adding the yeast cell wall enhanced the response of the immunological parameters analyzed,” said Borges.

Gut health is the most important way of reducing the use of antibiotics in poultry.
I will be thankful to have the complete record of the trial.
