Novus supports European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition with Diamond Sponsorship

Novus researchers will present findings on enzymes and pigments during the annual poultry nutrition symposium in Poland

Novus will also share innovations in enzymes and pigments during the scientific conference in Gdansk, Poland, June 10-13.

ESPN gives industry professionals the opportunity to learn from one another through discussions on critical topics in their fields during the conference and poster sessions.

Novus is dedicated to enhancing nutrition programs for broilers, layers and breeders, and will showcase its years of expertise in improving productivity through animal nutrition with sustainable solutions in the three posters that will be presented at the event.

“For this symposium, we will present a study from one of our latest scientific trials demonstrating the benefits of CIBENZA® EP150 feed enzyme on broiler gut health,” said Silvia Peris, head of technical services in Europe and the Middle East for Novus. “CIBENZA® is a unique feed additive preparation consisting of a combination protease and the spores of its producing organism, Bacillus Licheniformis. It is the first combination of its kind in the European Union, authorized as a zootechnical feed additive (4d12) for supporting broiler and pullet performance. This product highlights Novus's innovation capacity.”

Novus will also present studies on an innovative source of natural yellow carotenoids showing similar properties to synthetic pigments for broiler skin pigmentation, and a study conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA) demonstrating that quails can act as a model for egg yolk color prediction in laying hens.

More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend this year’s conference. “ESPN is not only a European-focused symposium anymore; it has become a global one. Participants are coming from all over the world, which is very attractive for poultry experts. We are excited to share these findings with the scientific world,” said Peris.
