Kemin presents ‘Total Nutrition™’ at the Kolkata Poultry Show

Kemin presented the concept of Total Nutrition^TM to poultry customers at the Paschim Banga Poultry Show held in Kolkata. The three key platforms of Total Nutrition are healthy, safe and efficient solutions. The practical application of these nutritional solutions helps boost production, reduce farming costs and thereby improve profitability in commercial farming.  

Under the healthy solutions platform, Kemin presented CLOSTAT^TM, a unique solution for addressing the challenge of Necrotic Enteritis in poultry. Under the safe solutions platform, the feed hygiene solution MycoCURB® Mash and powerful mycotoxin binder Toxfin^TM were showcased. LYSOFORTE®, KemTRACE^TM, ButiPEARL^TM and millSMART^TM were presented under the efficient solutions platform. LYSOFORTE® is a natural biosurfactant that acts as a powerful emulsifier which maximizes fat absorption and reduces feed costs. ButiPEARL^TM, an encapsulated source of calcium butyrate, helps increase the height of the intestinal villi, increase the absorptive area and ultimately boost nutrient absorption and utilization in birds. KemTRACE^TM contains Kemin-patented metal propionates that have the highest bioavailability and help birds reach their full potential.

The highlight of the show was a demonstration of the engineering solution millSMART^TM, which maximizes feed mill efficiency. millSMART^TM helps improve pellet durability and reduces specific energy and process losses at the feed mill.
