Hubbard is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with Maniker Co. Ltd of Korea to handle the sales and distribution of Hubbard parent stock in the Korean Peninsular. Hubbard has always been a major supplier to the Korean market with the Hubbard Classic, and since 2003 also with the Hubbard Flex package.

Maniker Co. Ltd is today the second largest integrated broiler company in Korea placing close to 1 million parent stock for their own need.

Maniker Co. Ltd announced earlier in 2006 that it was their intention to further integrate the company through the establishment of their own GP facilities to better secure the quality and traceability of its own parent stock and to be able to offer the same quality and assurances of supply to other companies in Korea.

Mr. Tae Hwan Kim of Maniker remarked that “our choice and confidence in Hubbard and its products stems from our many years of experience with the Hubbard product, combined with Hubbard’s professional technical support team which makes the Flex package the ideal choice for the integration”.

Jeff Sharp, Hubbard’s Regional Business Development Manager, added to it that “through its large international breeding and supply network Hubbard has the ability to offer security of supply from several continents and, bearing in mind the recent world-wide Avian Influenza situation, this is of particular importance to Maniker”.

The 1st Hubbard Flex have been delivered end of November 2006 to a brand new GP complex in Korea.
