Addcon GmbH and its local partner Takamul National Agri Trading are proud to announce the successful launch of FORMI Alpha in the Kingdom of Jordan. On February 19th 2018, Takamul and Addcon jointly carried out a seminar at the Landmark hotel in Amman for more than 60 participants.
Addcon was represented by Dr. Christian Lückstädt, Technical Director Feed and Dr. Hakan Suyun, Addcon Technical Consultant for the Middle East. Feed-mills owners, technical managers and poultry breeders form Jordan – as well as from Iraq, made up the audience, and they listened to Dr. Suyun’s presentation on a holistic approach to counteract Salmonella – and to Dr. Lückstädt’s presentations on the use and application of Formi Alpha.
FORMI Alpha – a third generation acidifier, which is based on Addcon´s diformate technology as well “power plants” containing alkaloids, has shown best results in poultry nutrition. Due to its molecular structure, FORMI Alpha can reach the small intestine where it controls harmful bacteria and supports a healthy intestinal microflora. The impact of the alkaloids in the product makes Formi Alpha a “broad spectrum” acidifier – with effects against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, thus covering most of the pathogenic bacteria in poultry rearing.
The high-caliber seminar concluded with a networking dinner for all the attendants from the region.
Dear Muzzamal,
good to hear from you! Thanks for your comment!
Yes, I clearly agree that the third generation of acidfier, like Formi Alpha, will be a valuable addition to the list of possible alternatives for AGP's - the opportunities to move forward to a sustainable poultry production are certainly present!
