Objective
The aim of this paper is to model the use of energy in broiler farms and to use such model to estimate the energy costs of raising chicken in different parts of the world. The model would reveal the most effective locations for broiler rearing.
Model
The model has been developed using similar types of facilities in terms of ventilation systems, and isolation regimes, as well as similar nutritional requirements (e.g. similar energetic value of feed) to avoid variability caused by other factors.

One of the factors considered in the model is the cost of the energy source.

The other important factor in the model is the climate of the place where the farm is.

Conclusions
Our results show that the best locations for broiler rearing are those with warmer climates, and where the energy price is lower. The reason is that heating the facilities is more costly than cooling them

temp condition in India are more or less same as in Thailand but due to bigger geographical condition it will suite better to raise poultry at a much cheaper rate as energy cost is also on lower side. thanks

Modeling the use of energy in broiler farm or any commercial farm like layer or broiler or breeder or any other species. Main point seems to be how to save cost in management of shed temp and ventilation and how to be cost effective. well food production has to be made every where on glob and selling price need to be according to production price. Again volume of production ref to consumption of the area decide the business stability on broiler meat production or chicken egg production. thus processing of product are more effective for making market stability due to consumption trend of the area and preservation of process products would be helpful to keep the market living for producers. It hold good for countries where more stable consumption and production and national support system prevail for this food production. It is good to read the concept for saving cost in this modeling general approach. Thank you.rath
