Biomin presents The BRAIN Program, a unique opportunity for new researchers

BIOMIN is one of the leading companies in the field of animal nutrition. Highly trained R&D-teams are searching for scientific solutions to provide animals with good health and improved performance. Their widespread know-how comprises biotechnological, microbiological, analytical and nutritional areas. Successful research co-operations exist with universities all over the world. The BRAIN program is introduced to support the scientific education of young talents (BRAIN meaning Biomin Research And Innovation Network). The program is directed to all BSC, MSC, PhD-Students, Post docs, Assistant Professors, Professors. The applicant must be supported by an academic or research institution. The resources of the applicant and the committed institution must have the capacity to apply to the BRAIN-program. The research fields include Animal Nutrition and Animal Health, Feed Hygiene and Preservation, Feed Microbiology and Biotechnology, Mycotoxins, Natural Growth Promotion, and Undesirable Substances. The endowment for the selected works will be as it follows: BRAIN 1: The author of the best study of the year will be invited to present the study at the World Nutrition Forum. All related costs will be covered by BIOMIN. BRAIN 2: The authors of the best five abstracts per year will be asked to send a full paper which is awarded with 300 EUR each. Biannually, the best paper submitted will be awarded 5000 EUR. The paper will be presented at the World Nutrition Forum. All related costs will be covered by BIOMIN. The deadline for this year will be October 31, 2006.
