Alltech’s IPPE Breakfast Explores Balanced Diet for Poultry

Join Alltech at their annual breakfast meeting at IPPE. This year’s featured speaker is Becky Timmons, global technical director of Alltech Algae. Timmons’ presentation, “What If a Nutrient Derived From The Sea Could Improve Nutritional Balance?” will examine the growing population’s need for protein and consumers’ desire for more transparency, changing the way poultry is fed and raised. The use of nontraditional feedstuffs, such as algae, is rapidly growing but the industry also needs to understand the effects it can have on animal health and, more importantly, human health after consuming the product.
The annual breakfast meeting will be held at IPPE, wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 8 to 9 a.m. Registration begins at 7.45 a.m.
Discover how to activate the power within your birds with Alltech at booth #A1507 during the 2015 International Production and Processing Expo. What if:
  • We could achieve optimum feed conversion rate and liveability without antibiotic growth promotants?
  • We could get one extra chick per hen?
  • We could improve egg shell and meat quality?
  • Daily DHA omega3 needs could be contained in just one egg?
Visitors to the booth will also have the opportunity to hear from industry experts on topics such as how to improve gut health naturally, the benefits of modern mineral management, and how to reduce the risk of mycotoxins.

The Alltech booth will host happy hours on Tuesday, Jan. 27 and Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 4 to 5 p.m. with Kentucky Ale® and entertainment by traditional Irish dancers.
