The Switzerland-based global leader in feed additives, Pancosma & Associates, has appointed Dr. Goetz Gotterbarm as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), at its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
The outgoing CEO, Mr. Daniel Kofel, will work together with the new CEO, Dr. Gotterbarm, over the next months to facilitate a smooth and orderly transition in leadership, while focusing on Pancosma & Associates’ continued transformation. Dr. Gotterbarm will be chief in command from December 1, 2015.
“After a thorough and exhaustive search process, I am pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Gotterbarm. I am confident that there is no one better to take over once the handover process is complete, given his considerable international experience, especially as the company continues to grow as a key global player in the field,” said Mr. Kofel. “Dr. Gotterbarm has extensive knowledge of the feed additives industry, and I am very optimistic about his vision for the company.”
Dr. Gotterbarm joins Pancosma coming from Biorigin, a Brazilian company focusing on the use of biotechnological processes for animal nutrition. Prior to this, he held positions in R&D, sales and marketing for Norsk Hydro, Nutreco and Adisseo. Dr. Gotterbarm received his PhD in nutrition physiology from the Technical University of Munich in Germany.
“During the period of about 20 years in the feed additives business, Pancosma has always been known to me as having a deep rooted culture of science and innovation as well as proximity to customers. It is a great pleasure to be here with a great team capable of driving accelerated growth, to see Pancosma stay among the top in the industry,” said Dr. Gotterbarm.
