TECHNA newly certified “GBP premixes”

The TECHNA Service Company has just been certified according to the French Good Manufacturing Practices Guidelines for the manufacture of premixes for animal feed (GBPPM).

"The GBPPM guidelines are a guarantee of quality for our clients in France and also abroad", explains Marie-Eve Martin, Quality Systems Director. Being GBPPM certified means that we continue to improve ourselves in accordance with guidelines that are specific to premixes."

These Guidelines, designed conjointly by Afca-Cial, Snia, and Coop de France NA, are part of a global quality and safety approach to the animal feed industry.

TECHNA has been an active partner in this voluntary project, launched by the profession, for the past 5 years, and has invested all its energy into this approach to obtain its certification rapidly.

TECHNA is also GMP certified and offers a whole range of products (complementary feeds, mineral feeds, and premixes) that have obtained certification for use in organic farming.

Finally, TECHNA specifies that OQUALIM plans to extend its feed safety action plan to supplements in 2012 (premixes, mineral feeds and nutritional products). This project reflects the desire of the industry for a shared organisation and dynamic approach to improve animal feed quality.
