Product details

TOXISORB® &ndash Feed Additive for the Deactivation of all kind of Mycotoxins. TOXISORB® effectively binds all kinds of mycotoxins and thus renders them innoxious. In this fixed state it is impossible for the toxin to be resorbed from the animal&rsquos intestines into its body and to perform its damaging effects. It simply leaves the body after the intestinal passage.
The big differences in the chemical structures of the various toxins demand a tailor-made adsorbent for their effective binding: myctoxins have to be fixed ively without preventing the resorption of other nutritional compounds into the body. Raw material for the production of TOXISORB® is a natural aluminosilicate named bentonite. The special adsorption capability for the various mycotoxins is achieved by a partial modification of its mineral surface. Because of this surface modification, it is possible to decisively improve the ivity of the adsorptive binding as well as the binding&rsquos stability.

Problem definition
The following characteristics point out a fungoid infection of feed or grain:

  • A musty, earthy or piercing smell
  • Discolorings (in case of fusarii: orange to grey)
  • Formation of bridges and lumps
  • Infestation of insects
An infestation of grain with fungi doesn&rsquot always mean that mycotoxins are formed.
A laboratory specialized in mycotoxin analyses will determine whether seeds or mixed feed are contaminated.

Problem solution
Depending on the concentration of toxins present in the feed or the severity of the existing symptoms, TOXISORB® are added to the feed in the recommended quantity.
It is important that the adsorbent is mixed into the feed homogeneously.

TOXISORB® protect pigs, poultry, cattle and horses from:

  • Feed refusal
  • Vomiting / diarrhea
  • Decreased performance
  • Suppression of the immune system
  • Reproductive disorders
  • Damaging of organs

It is a proven fact that and TOXISORB® do not have any negative effects on the animal&rsquos supply of vitamins and trace elements.

The results presented in the chart show that the various mycotoxins in the feed and especially under the acidic conditions in the stomach are effectively fixed to the special adsorbent TOXISORB®.
This binding remains effective even in the further course of the digestive system when the pH-value changes from 3 to 7”.
FIXAT® is an effective Adsorbent for Aflatoxins only.

Your Profit is Assured with TOXISORB

Once the no-effect-levels of the various mycotoxins are exceeded, feed consumption and performance parameters quickly decline by 10 to 30 .

The monetary losses caused by this condition amount to a fraction of the cost incurred by adding TOXISORB® to the feed.

If corresponding counteractions are not taken, substantial monetary losses will be the consequence of feeding diets contaminated with mycotoxins.
Adding TOXISORB® to the feed will prevent you from suffering such losses and protect your animals from any harm.
An expense that will definitely be worth it.

Recommended Dosage TOXISORB®:
The recommended dosages for all kinds of animals depend on the concentration of mycotoxins in the feed as well as the severity of the symptoms and are as follows:

Low content of Mycotoxins / preventive: 2 kg / to of feed
Increased content of Mycotoxins: 3 kg / to of feed
Acute symptoms in animals: 4 kg / to of feed
