I would like to find out what are the causes of stunted growth in broiler chickens? How can this be controlled in a flock once it happens, what are the remedial measures to save the flock?

One of our big farmers complained of stunted growth late last year. As usual, the first suspect is the feed always. I reformulated thinking maybe it could be due to my Soybean content in the diets. Still no change. Eventually, I told him to get a new lot, divide into 2 and put one batch on our feed & the other on our competitor. Our feed did better. He had no choice but swallow his pride and do what I recommended before. Shut down the farm & do an all-in all-out system. He reopened the farm after 2 months and the performance was excellent as expected.
Hygiene & management plays a critical role in achieving a good flock performance.

I was recruited in a poultry farm where I met the broilers not doing well at all and right now they are eight weeks no change. I learned they weren't given adequate feed. Can the situation be corrected?
