In the article was excellent and informative. In the mycotoxin part, I would like to suggest my view: Looking to the incidence and prevalence it is very clear that mycotoxin is a chronic problem and it is very difficult to get grains with out mycotoxin and hence we need to take care during the formulation that a good quality Anti mycotoxin Additive or Toxin binder is must for the current days. A quality toxin binder should take care of all the prevalent mycotoxin, it should be active when ingesta are within the intestine. Wise way, a toxin binder should bind the toxins in the upper half of the intestine before it reach the duodenum and retain it till it is excreted. But at the same time a toxin binder should only adsorb the toxins and should not absorb/adsorb the nutrients in the gut which may deprive some of the nutrients to the birds.

Barman, your opinion is correct but we have to purchase mycotoxin free ingredients and we have to try that all the ingredients are that we are using in the feed formulation are of adequate quality so, that the need for toxin binders can be reduced. One of the major drawbacks of using the mycotoxin binder is that these also bind many essential nutrients like lysine, methionine, etc.

its challenging topic which needs broad based understanding however most people do not understand it .Its manifestation is in many ways which may lead to poor weight gain in broilers, low egg production in layers, infertile eggs in breeders. Management is by understanding its prediposing factors and know them and know how to prevent and control and management.
