Water consumption of piglets

Question

I would like to know the "effects of water consumption" in piglets. I mean, the real importance of this in any physiological process, since a trial was conducted where it was found that water supply was not essential during lactation. Those piglets that supplemented water with milk, compared with other groups that have water ad libitum, obtained a higher weight at weaning.

He llegado a 42 grados por aqui - NUNCA ha sido tan caloroso !!!  Los ventiladores les tengo apuntado al techo para sacar el aire caliente y jalar el aire mas fresco desde afuera.  Estoy usando las botellas congelados y en un dia horrible fui y compre bloques de hielo grandotes y les puse en cada corral.  

Las conejas sentaban encima un rato y bajaban y luego subian otras - se vea muy curiosa.  Los machos les tengo colgando de jaulas contra una pared y pasaba yo con la manguera y les mojaba sus encantos desde abajo.  Algunos brincaban como liebres pero algunos se quedaban quietos con un gesto de alivio en sus caritas 

Hasta compre un congelador grande para sus botellas de agua - y dicen que mis conejos son consentidos !!!
