All Phodé products are adapted to the heavy constraints on the feed industry, both with respect to species (pigs, ruminants, poultry) as well as to feed presentation (granular compound feeds and flours, mineral feeds, lacto–replacement feeds and nutritional specialties). Phodé products are available in powder and liquid formulations. Certain versions combine the properties of several product ranges.

Sensorial additive, appetizer.

Appetite stimulators intended to be incorporated into feed for young animals, OPTIFEED® is based on an innovative sensory concept targeting the positive and natural stimulation of the animal’s oropharyngeal receptors in order to maximize the voluntary consumption of feed.
OPTIFEED® is of interest for feeds distributed “ad libitum” to animals exposed to episodes of significant feeding stress, such as weaning, feed transitions and excessive heat. It is completely adapted for young animals in particular.

• Optifeed® Intech is an original pre-mix of additives, specially
developed to reduce problems of lack of appetite linked to the
taste of raw materials (bitterness, astringency).
• Optifeed® Intech improves taste and makes it possible to
consume feedstuffs containing raw materials with a risk of lack
of appetite caused by their composition.

Optifeed® Intech is recommended:

- To replace sweeteners (does not replace an aroma)
- Possible combination with Cristalfeed, recommended if necessary to mask the smell of the feed

How to use.

• 500g/T but can be adapted depending on needs

Test results:

• Field tests carried out in 10 commercial farms on dairy calves
• Problem: change in formulation following rises in the price of raw materials
• Finding: lower consumption of the starter feed with the new formula
• New dairy calves starter formula with rapeseed and sunflower oil cake as a partial replacement for soya oil cake.
