KILLED VIRUS VACCINE
DESCRIPTION
Inactivated oil emulsified vaccine, containing LaSota, Massachusetts & Connecticut and JPA strains, propagated in embryonated eggs, for the immunization of poultry against Newcastle Disease (ND), infectious bronchitis (IB) and Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS).
COMPOSITION
Newcastle-bronchitis-eds contains inactivated ND virus LaSota strain, IB virus Massachusetts and Connecticut strains of chicken embryo origin, and EDS virus JPA strain of duck embryo origin, emulsified in mineral oil.
INDICATIONS
Newcastle-bronchitis-eds is recommended for vaccination and revaccination of healthy birds as an aid for the prevention and control of ND, IB and EDS. Apply the vaccine four weeks before the onset of lay.
Twenty four hours before vaccination warm the emulsion to room temperature 18-24

F), keeping the vaccine in dark out of refrigeration conditions. Shake well. During application shake the vaccine every half hour.
DOSAGE
Vaccinate 0.5 ml (1/2 cc) per bird.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
The vaccine should be administered subcutaneously in the midportion back of the neck, between the head and the body, in direction away from the head.
No other method or route is suggested or implied.
PACKING
Plastic bottles with 500 ml.
SIDE EFFECTS
As it can happen with any oil emulsion vaccine swelling and granulomas at the site of injection can occur and be present usually for two to three weeks following administration.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in refrigeration between 2-7

C (35-45

F). Do not freeze.
Do not expose product to direct sun rays. Product can be kept out of refrigeration conditions for 3 weeks for transportation purposes 18

WARNING
It is imperative that the user of this product comply with the instructions stated above.
The vaccine must be prepared and administered as directed to obtain best results.
Use of non-sterile needles, syringes and stoppers under field vaccinations may result in abscess formation and condemnations of birds.
The accidental injection in humans beings can result in severe adverse reactions at site of injection.
If it occurs consult your physician immediately. Use entire content when first open. Burn this container and all unused contents.
