Hello, Good to here the progress that Alltech is making in the diagnosis of mycotoxins. But will be you please tell me is there any method for detection of masked aflatoxins? becuase we don't know the what percentage of masked aflatoxin is present in a feed or feed ingredient? Secondly I had read in an article that aflatoxin B1 is first converted into aflatoxicol in rumen then it is converted into Afla M1 in liver and excreted. Definatley there is some excretion of aflatoxicol in milk. Is there any method thats been developed for diagnosis of Aflatoxicol as it has same toxicological effect as that of AFB1 and AFM1 ...... Thanks Dr. Kabir Ahmed Chohan M.Phil. (Animal Nutrition) Lahore, Pakistan.
