FUNGINAT, SALMONAT, FUNGISAL: A range to cover all necessities and available in powder or liquid form and different preparations according to the specific problems of contamination.

FUNGINAT is a wide spectrum mould inhibitor composed by diformiates and dipropionates, presents wide advantages OVER another mould inhibitors based in salts of the same acid. It provides:
Greater power of inhibition in front of the different microorganism + Less volatility avoiding losses of the active part in process such as granulation, where the substratum is put under high temperatures + Greater diffusiveness permitting a homogeneous distribution of FUNGINAT in the material to treat + Greater dissociation giving a high number of active molecules in the conditions of humidity and temperature, where the treated material is more liable to pollution, improving its bactericide power + FUNGINAT has a faster action than the mould inhibitors composed by propionates and a longer activity than the compounds of free acid, resulting in a perfect mould inhibitor designed for the treatment of raw material and/or feeds.

SALMONAT:
A bactericide for the treatment in raw materials and feed consisting of dipropionates y diformiates of sodium-calcium-ammonium.
Using SALMONAT in unloading cereals, cakes and oilseeds not only protects these raw materials during storage, but also offers a protective layer for all the manufacturing equipment that comes into contact with them + Adding SALMONAT to the product upon exit from the digestor but before storage and packaging guarantees that salmonella is eliminated, and prevents possible recontamination later by protecting the conductors as well as storage and transport materials.
Percentage of survival for salmonella after treatment with SALMONAT in various raw materials:
1 hour 1 day 2 days 1 week
Soy meal 43,2 5,4 - -
Poultry meal 38,5 8,6 1,5 1,3
Fish meal 26,1 9,8 1,0 -
FUNGISAL is a group of molecules of different volatile fatty acids (AGV) reacted in salt form of high concentration and security usage, which more representative function is the inhibition of mold and enterobacterias.
FUNGISAL acts basically:
Against fungus loosen propionic acid. This acid avoids that the fungus feeds itself with essential substances for its own development + Against enterobacteria, through the enterobacterias cellular wall and dissociation in its inside, reaching two functions:
1.- From protons, decreasing the intracellular pH, so the pathogen cell has to waste more energy for survival.
2.- The anionic part helps to prevent cell protein synthesis inhibiting the enterobacteria development.
FUNGISAL also acts as an acidifier in its physiological function liberating the high acid content stimulating enzyme secretion and helping to decrease the pH of the stomach during digestion of the feed + Also helps to avoid the contamination in the feed bolus.
