I think the downer cow syndrome is a multifactorial problem. Including management and nutritional factors.

But I add when we used vaccine against staph. aureus as (Lysigen) in cows and heifers can decrease the SCC because the bacteria has chronicity form in lactating cows which lead to increase SCC Best Regards.
