Maganapac is a calcium soap of palm fatty
acids: (saponification of fatty acids with calcium): It is an inert fat at rumen level that does not cover the fibre
nor inhibit the action of the micro-organisms, it dissociates in the abomasum
as fatty acids and calcium, that pass free to the duodenum. A totally reliable
source is the palm oil, with a digestibility coefficient of the fatty acids of
a 93-96. Magnapac can be used in poultry and piglet rations as an alternative
energy source especially in high energy rations. Nowadays protected fats are
mainly from the palm within those types used, the most applied ones are the calcium
soaps of fatty acids (MAGNAPAC, BETAPAC&hellip). Their employment is justified
by the good results from decades of use and because they are a source of highly
concentrated energy, with an excellent energy supplied/price ratio. Another good
reason is their important fatty acid contribution for reproduction.
