DESCRIPTION
magna-mix® is a broad spectrum, bactericidal antimicrobial premix belonging to the fosfonic acid-derivatives, for the treatment of bacterial diseases of poultry and pigs caused by formula-sensitive germs.

COMPOSITION
Each 1000 g of magna-mix® contains:
Magnacina® equivalent to fosfomycin base………..50.0 g

INDICATIONS
magna-mix® is an antibiotic premix recommended as an aid in the treatment of bacterial diseases caused by formula-sensitive bacteria.

Poultry:  Infectious coryza, fowl cholera, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, CRD, ulcerative enteritis, gangrenous dermatitis, streptococcosis, staphylococcal infections, fowl thyfoid.

Pigs:  Pleuropneumonia, enzootic pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, pasteurellosis, atrophic rhinitis, colibacillosis, septisemia, MMA, genito-urinary infections, salmonellosis, shigellosis, inespecific diarrhoeas, Glasser disease.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
POULTRY
Broilers 1.0-2.0 kg per ton of feed during 7 to 15 consecutive days.
Replacement Pullets 2.0 kg per ton of feed the first three weeks of life, and two weeks during the transference to lay.
Adult Birds In Production (Layers And Breeders): 1.0 to 2.0 kg per ton of feed 1 of every 4 weeks.

SWINE
Pigs:  1.0-2.0 kg per ton of feed for 7 to 14 consecutive days.
Piglets:  2.0 kg per ton of feed for the first 14 days after weaning.
Saws:  2.0-4.0 kg per ton of feed 7 days before and 15 days after farrowing.

PACKING
Multilayer sacs with 25 kg.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Avoid wet conditions and direct exposure to sunlight.

WARNING
Pigs and poultry withdrawal period: 5 days before slaughter.
The eggs of treated birds should not be used for human consumption up to 5 days after last treatment.
In vivo joint administration of magna-mix® and imidazole compounds, nitrofurans and sulfonamides induces enteritis and diarrhea.
