WHO WE ARE
Back in 1980 we began shearing sheep along with our farming operation. As time went on we noticed one problem, Clipper Blades. If we were on the road we needed to carry a large number of sharp blades. It just was not practical to go a long distance from home to shear larger flocks and run out of sharp blades. The other problem we faced was finding a sharpening business that had a fast turnaround to accommodate us in our busy season.

Within the first year we decided to build a sharpener to suit our needs, that must meet the following criteria;

* Easy for anyone to use.
* Portable, to go wherever we go.
* Heavy 10 inch cast aluminum disc machined to within 1/1000 of an inch.
* Independent drive shaft assembly.
* Anti-vibration leg levelers.
* Heavy duty motor, to withstand hours of sharpening at one time.

Not long after we made our first machine, local vets and dog groomers came and asked us if we could sharpen their small blades. At that time they had to send their blades 200 miles away, and would have to wait up to three weeks before they were returned. Before long word spread and we had a very good second income. Then customers began bringing blades that were new out of the box and asking us to sharpen them. That gave us great confidence in the machine and that is why over two decades later we still manufacture the same original unit.
