FIXAT® – Feed Additive for the Deactivation of Aflatoxins FIXAT® is a selected Aluminosilicate with a high binding characteristics for Aflatoxins.

Problem definition
The following characteristics point out a fungoid infection of feed or grain:

• A musty, earthy or piercing smell
• Discolorings (in case of fusarii: orange to grey)
• Formation of bridges and lumps
• Infestation of insects
  An infestation of grain with fungi doesn’t always mean that mycotoxins are formed.
  A laboratory specialized in mycotoxin analyses will determine whether seeds or mixed feed are contaminated.

Depending on the concentration of toxins present in the feed or the severity of the existing symptoms, FIXAT® are added to the feed in the recommended quantity.
It is important that the absorbent is mixed into the feed homogeneously.
