ENVIRO Plus is a phytogenic feed additive for commercial shrimp production with the benefit of improving production efficiency.The active ingredients of ENVIROPlus are based on a standardized complex of triterpenoid saponins, which improve attractiveness of feed as well as improve performance parameters such as weight gain, feed conversion and survivability.

Higher attractiveness and better palatability of feed
Scientific feeding trials showed a significantly increased attractiveness towards feed enriched by ENVIROPlus compared to standard feed without the addition of ENVIROPlus. Furthermore the palatability was improved,shown through a longer mastication time.

Better growth and feed conversion
Feeding trials have proven that ENVIROPlus improves daily weight gain of shrimp by up to 15 compared to a negative control group with the additive. Furthermore a better nutrient digestibility has also improvedfeed conversion rate significantly.

Mortality
Shrimp production faces usually high mortality which is between 30 and 40. ENVIROPlus demonstrated a positive effect in increasing the survivability of the animals. Trials have shown up to 8 (absolutely) better survival rate.
