World Mycotoxin Journal best paper of the year award 2008

Dr. Philippe Augustin Nikièma is announced as winner of the ‘World Mycotoxin Journal best paper of the year award’ 2008, with the article ‘Fumonisin exposure and the sphinganine/sphingosine ratio in urine, serum and buccal cells in adults from Burkina Faso, West Africa’ (World Mycotoxin Journal 2008 Vol. 1: 483-391). The award-winning article was written by an international team of authors from Ougadougou (Burkina Faso), York (UK), and Leeds (UK). Dr. Phillipe Augustin Nikièma is currently employed as assistant professor and researcher at the Unité de Formation et de Recherche en Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre, Centre de Recherche en Sciences Biologiques, Alimentaires et Nutritionnelles, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Dr. Nikièma has received a one year free subscription for his prize-winning article.
