Pof. Dale: I appreciate your article to take into account to reduce or minimize the high impact of the cost of feed phosphates nowadays. I would like to add a comment regard the P digestibility in the feed phosphates. Many nutritionist works with a bio disponibility of 100% of the total phosporus in some cases reducing the safety margin, and it's better to make a review of the nutritional matrix of the products in the feed formulation program, before to make some changes in the requeriments and the quantity of P that releases the use of phytase.
