The important note here is the cows grazing fresh pasture, not whether the pasture is organic or conventional pasture. It has been known for some time that, in general, the butter fat from grazing animals had a different (higher) trans fat (CLA) content than that of most cows fed preserved feedstuffs (dry feeds and silages).
