Citrex Liquid is a bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal ultrabiotic composed of a combination of physically activated ascorbic acid (vitamin C) with lactic and citric acids plus glycerine. All its ingredients are classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the FDA in the U.S.A. and can be mixed with antibiotics, prebiotics, and acidifiers. In vivo scientific trials have demonstrated its efficacy against Gram Positive and Gram Negative bacteria. The main three areas of application in animal production and food processing are the following:

1. In the drinking water for prevention and control of intestinal pathogens like E. coli, Salmonella, Clostridium, etc.

2. Nebulization (aerosol) application for prevention and control of poultry respiratory pathogens like Mycoplasmosis, Swollen Head Syndrome, etc. In swine for prevention and control of respiratory diseases caused by Mycoplasmosis,  Circovirus,  APP and PPRS.

3. General disinfection of equipment in production facilities and slaughter houses.
