BIOSURE is a synergistic mix of organic acids that acts as an acidifier and disinfectant for the control of Salmonella, Coliforms, Clostridium, and other gram positive and gram negative bacteria. BIOSURE also acts as an inhibitor of fungi, spores and yeasts in animal feeds and ingredients used in their manufacture.
It is made up of a mix of: Ammonium Propionate, Propionic Acid, Formic Acid and Methylene Oxide. Active ingredient concentration in BIOSURE is over 55 and its ingredients are supported in inert vehicles. The solid form of the product has excellent dispersal capacity and its liquid form has added surfactants allowing the adherence of BIOSURE to all the particles of the feed or ingredient to be treated.
Due to its content of organic acids in free form, BIOSURE works efficiently and quickly; additionally, its content of organic acid salts allow the persistence of its activity.
The presence of short-chain organic acids in BIOSURE contributes to the acidification of the digestive tract, which generates an environment where pathogenic bacteria do not proliferate and, to the contrary, are controlled. Additionally, it allows the bactericidal agents present in its composition to act in a quicker and more effective manner thanks to the fact that the acidification allows these substances to easily penetrate the cellular wall of bacteria.
The reduction of pH generated by the use of BIOSURE contributes to more effective digestion and to an optimization of digestive enzymes, at the same time improving the digestibility of vegetable proteins.
BIOSURE decreases microbial competition for absorption sites in the intestine, produced with enteric bacteria adhere to the gastrointestinal wall, favoring the proliferation of beneficial microflora, improving the full assimilation of nutrients and the response to treatments with antibiotics and vaccines applied orally.
The increase in solubility in an acidic media of components such as vitamins, bronchodilators and antibiotics, as well as the increase in the permeability of bacterial cellular walls, improves the response to the use of these components.
BIOSURE Can be applied by aspersion, atomization or directly over the ingredient and/or feed at the time of mixing.
BIOSURE must be added in balanced feeds and/or feeds for animals or in the ingredients used in their manufacture, depending on their moisture according to the following table:
|
MOISTURE |
BIOSURE (g/MT) |
|
< 13 |
500 - 750 |
|
13-14 |
750 - 1,000 |
|
14-16 |
1,000 - 1,500 |
|
16-18 |
1,500 - 2,000 |
BIOSURE can also be used according to the level of contamination of the ingredients or feeds to be treated, according to the following table:
|
DEGREE OF CONTAMINATION |
BIOSURE (g/MT) |
|
Low |
500 - 1,000 |
|
Medium |
1,000 - 1,500 |
|
High |
1,500 - 2,000 |
Why use BIOSURE?
- It is an excellent alternative to the use of antibiotics
- Decreases the use of drugs by controlling salmonella and other bacteria
- Because it is composed of noble organic acids
- Does not generate resistance
- All its components are FDA approved
- Improves the assimilation of nutrients in the intestinal tract
- Does not change the organoleptic properties of feeds
- Improves the assimilation of antibiotics, vitamins and minerals
- Can be used to disinfect production lines
- Has light smell and does not affect palatability
- Non-toxic
- No contraindications, incompatibilities or side effects
