BIOMOLD & VITUPROP are a mold, yeast and spore inhibitors to be used in the manufacture of balanced animal feed, as well as for the conservation of grains and other ingredients utilized in their production.

BIOMOLD & VITUPROP are manufactured with a mixture of Propionic acid and its salts (calcium, sodium and ammonium propionates) in synergic proportions to achieve the best effect of each one of its components.

The solid forms of BIOMOLD & VITUPROP posses a great dispersion capacity. Its inert carrier supports the active ingredients encapsulating them and thus making them available for a long period of time due to its slow and controlled release. The liquid presentation is added with surfactants which allow the adherence of the product to each and every particle of the treated feed or ingredient.

The free Propionic acid and the ammoniac fraction (from ammonium propionate) act as fumigants by releasing Propionic acid in a monomer form which then enters in direct contact with mold, spores and bacteria acting as a fungicide, fungistat, bactericide and bacteriostat. Its action is rapid and has prolonged effect.

The active substances present in BIOMOLD & VITUPROP interfere with the catabolism of glucids in mold and yeast by inhibiting some enzymes of this metabolic routes.

BIOMOLD & VITUPROP inhibit the formation and germination of spores as well as mold growth in grains, in commonly used feed ingredients and in animal feed.

DOSAGE: BIOMOLD & VITUPROP should be added at a rate of 1.0 Kg per each metric ton of feed or ingredient to be treated.

BIOMOLD & VITUPROP possess a degradation temperature above 100°C making them an excellent alternative to protect extruded, expanded and pelleted feeds, without losses due to evaporation.

BIOMOLD & VITUPROP are compatible with all major ingredients used in the manufacturing of balanced animal feed and they do not present chemical affinity with other additives.

All the ingredients used in the fabrication of BIOMOLD & VITUPROP are classified as safe by the FDA and are accepted by the Association of American feed Control (AAFCO).

The surfactants present in BIOMOLD & VITUPROP increase their capacity to act as humectants, providing excellent conditions to cover all the feed particles.

BIOMOLD & VITUPROP are produced both in powder and liquid presentations to be used accordingly to the producer requirements.
