- Pharmacological Action:

 Amoxicillin is a broad spectrum semisynthesized penicillin. It exert bactericidal effect by prohibiting the synthesis of bacterial cellular wall and making the bacteria dissolved quickly. It has good efficacy on the systematic infections, which includes respiratory system, urinary system, skin and parenchyma caused by sensitive bacteria.

- Features:

1.broad spectrum and high efficacy. It has a strong bactericidal action on the gram negative bacteria,gram positive bacteria, haemophilus,leptosipia, spirochete,actinomyces.Rapidly reduce the death rate and quick recovery.
2. Quick action. After the drug is administrated for one hour, blood concentration reaches the peak.
3.Good absorption, high blood concentration. Long lasting effective concentration.The efficacy of the same dosage is three times than that of the ampicillin.

- Indication:

 Antibiotic medicine. Its mainly used for the gram positive and gram negative bacterial infection sensitive to penicillin,such as pasteurellosis, colibacillosis,white diarrhea, salmonellosis, infectious coryza, staphylococcal infection, streptococcus infection,fowl typhoid, fowl cholera, bacterial pneumonia,bronchitis,salpingitis,peritonitis etc.

- Aquatic animals:

It can be used for bacterial gill rot,albinism, white headmouth disease,scale protrusion disease, bacterial septicemia,bacterial enteritis, stigmatosis, eel red speck disease,prawn red leg disease, bacterial septicemia of the turtle, frog red leg disease,bullfrog skin fester disease,rotten shell disease of the tortoise,gastroenteritis etc.

- Usage and dosage:

Calculate on the base of amoxicillin.1. Mixed drink,1L drink water with 60mg for chicken,using 3-5 continuous days 2. Aquatic animal: oral,daily 20mg/live weight,feed in two times and use 3-5 continuous days immerse the animal in the water to make the amoxicillin concentration reach 25-50mg/L,1-2h each time,each for a day and use 2-3 times continuously.

2. It cant be used for the infection caused by gram positive bacteria resistant to penicillin.
